Mom's Home Cooking. As the name might imply for many of us, the breakfast and lunch dishes here are much like mom used to serve up, only better. From waffles to biscuits and gravy, eggs and omelettes, the list goes on. Great fresh food and plenty of it, served up by friendly folks who know what they're doing. I've never had a bad, or even mediocre meal here and it remains one of my all-time favorite breakfast places in this area, bar none. Bon Apetité "Life's too short for bland food, bad wine, cheap whiskey or weak coffee!" Ray

Mary is our server and she is great! This place has amazing Belgium waffles with fresh fruit. I opted for the triple decker club and it was great. My husband is a regular here, they know your name when you walk in and always remember what you drink.

We had a bunch of great breakfasts in the area but this place gets my vote as best of the best. The biscuits and gravy contained the best biscuits I've ever had+ the best sausage gravy I've ever had. Eggs tasted farm fresh, really! Cheese grits excellent!

Following my yesterdays bad breakfast I had a much better experience at Mom´s. The place was quite busy when I arrived about a little after 10am. There was a large group of 8 and they were very loud probably not realizing that their noise level was rather annoying. Anyways, I ordered Art´s Hungry Man breakfast consisting of 3 eggs, home fries and bacon and 3 pretty big pancakes and pumpernikel bread. That stuff was great, I shoveled the eggs on the bread and down it went, the bacon was crisp and the potatoes were tasty. I kind of ate with my fingers, sorry for my table manners but the food was really good. As said Hungry Man indeed I was saving the pancakes the last but I only managed to eat one...The rest went into bag for eating later Coffee was forgettable, not strong enough. Service staff was rather slow and my empty coffee mug was unnoticed twice until I asked the lady for more coffee. But it is a good place and I would recommend it and most likely stop there again. They also have waffles, I had seen the waitress carrying a dish containing a giant waffle topped with a mountain of fruits and whipped cream...sure gonna get that the next time. Here is a short reminder, the place has standard set of dressing rules...no shirt, no shoes, no service....so do not come naked :D

We stopped in to Moms for lunch today. We were seated immediately and very well attended to. I had the 1/2 sand and soup and all was delicious. We will try it now for breakfast. Everyone was very friendly.

The waffels were ok but a little pricy, service just ok, the room real small. My change was miscounted but not overturned. Won't go back

Went my first visit 2-21-14....place was packed and a small wait maybe 5 min. Wait staff friendly and fast, but very busy (think there were only 2 and they run the register and seat you) so I would suggest they need 3..the food was delicious and the eggs were cooked to order and cooker right! Will be going again soon.

Great place for breakfast or lunch. It is always clean, the service is always friendly, and the food is good. They only take cash, but they have an ATM on site. It can get a little crowded on weekend mornings, guess most others like it too.

Great breakfast place! Affordable and delicious with good-sized portions! Not much for decorum, but that's not why you should visit Mom's, visit for the fast, no-nonsense, and professional service and the hundreds of awesome breakfast choices!!!

Great comfort food. You have to try the fresh fruit Belgium waffle, and spinach artichoke omlet!

Nice breakfast/lunch place. Pretty typical menu for this kind of place. The portions were large and the service was quick. I would go back, they close at 2pm.

My favorite breakfast spot. Great home cooking go their once and they will always remember what you like to drink. I always get the waffles fresh and fluffy with fresh cut strawberries. Ask for Mari she is the best and makes you feel at home.

For a local breakfast place, it was pretty good but just not overwhelmingly amazing in my book. That being said, the fruit waffles looked awesome - but I had the western omelette and it was just about standard. The fruit bowl - which for some reason isn't on the menu - was a generous mix of fresh berries, bananas and whipped cream and went well with a mimosa. They don't accept credit cards which is always obnoxious but we knew that going in so no big deal - food came quickly and service was pleasant. All in all a good experience but for what I ordered, not necessarily a must-do in my book.
